Sweeney is bringing the flavours of Thailand to Mumbai with its immersive Cook With The Chef – Thai Edition, a unique culinary experience designed for food enthusiasts, aspiring home chefs, and lovers of Thai cuisine.
Hosted in Sweeney’s outdoor garden in Khar, the experience unfolds beneath a charming 90-year-old mango tree, creating a relaxed and inspiring setting. Guests don their Sweeney apron and chef hat before embarking on a hands-on journey through the vibrant world of Thai cooking.
The curated two-hour experience introduces participants to the essential techniques, ingredients, and traditions that define authentic Thai cuisine. Guided by Sweeney’s chef, guests prepare and plate every dish themselves, gaining practical insights into the art of balancing Thailand’s signature sweet, sour, salty, and spicy flavours.
The culinary journey begins with a refreshing Thai-inspired cocktail or mocktail, followed by a step-by-step masterclass in creating a signature Thai dish. Participants learn professional cooking techniques while discovering the stories and cultural influences behind the cuisine. The experience concludes with a classic Thai dessert, offering a sweet finale to the interactive session.
Beyond cooking, the event encourages creativity, learning, and meaningful engagement through direct interaction with the chef, who shares expert tips, culinary stories, and cooking secrets throughout the session.
